It seems that trolls online have been having fun with Ilhan Omar's recent comments regarding her apparently declaring that she wants to take her people's lands back from Kenya and Ethiopia. As such I've seen plenty of Ethiopians and even Somalilanders online claim that Somalis are pushing an expansionist agenda and even claim that Somaliweyn is more dangerous than their neighbors!
The sheer audacity some of these people have to claim such things when Somalia hadn't pursued any sort of expansionism since 1977. Meanwhile Ethiopia and Kenya not only have troops in Somalia this whole time but especially under Abiy, has been constantly angering its neighbors such as threatening military action against Eritrea and trying to build a base in northern Somalia. Even Kenya tried to pull a fast one with the sea border dispute and yet they still believe Somalis are the ones to worry about. Ethiopian government has done some good brainwashing wallahi, just like America's government.
