Problem is some Ethiopian propagandist are falsely claiming that Hadush Kebatu is Eritrean. The name, his biography and the ongoing investigation expose this lie.

Wallahi, it's stuff like this that makes me think Chinese-like control of social media should somewhat be the norm globally. At least when it comes to reporting news. While I like that news is somewhat democratized and any random person can post about the goings on in the world, you also leave room for propogandists like this. But then do we really want a select few people monopolizing the news? People probably owned by Billionaires or Party leaders? Conundrum, wallahi.

Yeah, in the UK Eritreans are overcounted in the crime rates.

The same news outlet ‘Daily Mail’ published a report of Ethiopian migrnats entering the UK as Eritrean refugees.

this explains why any crime in the UK by easy Africans is attributed on Eritreans.

I haven't seen such stats in other big Eritrean communities like in Franfurt, Germany, Washington DC or Stockholm where as many Eritreans live (+10.000 Eritreans)

I wouldn't call it low. I'm certain even our numbers are being inflated by people larping as us too. Also the numbers don't seem right to me.

It says that the population of Somalis by nationality is 26702 but according to the census they used, 109k people declare Somalia as their country of birth meaning they're all Somali nationals. These numbers are clearly false!

Therefore, 84 arrests (assuming this nunber is correct) should be calculated as the rate for 109k people. For ease of calculation, I rounded the number.

So 84 ÷ 109k × 100k= 77 arrests per 100000 people. This would put Somalia at 63rd place not 25th.

Ngl, I have hard time imagining any Somali coming to the west just to xoog, most of them are Ethiopians or other Africans just claiming Somali for asylum

I haven't read the article but aren't these people who worked for Britain during their time there? If that's the case, the UK should relocate them. They served the British while there and are now in danger because of it. I'm almost certain that the Government offered this as an incentive to get local Afghans to work for them from the start. I haven't read the article, but if I'm correct then they are owed such protections. Maybe Britain shouldn't be in other countries contracting and risking the lives of workers if they aren't willing to take responsibility for it.

Exactly. Ethiopians will go around saying they are from Eritrea and Somalia especially when they get caught doing something reprehensible. Ex: that Ethiopian that got caught by the Russian military and pretended to be Somali.
