It is common actually. The only haplo-group A I've come across is myself.

I think Habeshas are generally lighter than us. Sometimes they look really mixed to me, especially the women but I think it might be just the curls + long hair throwing me off? Mfw I've seen so many Ethiopians claim 'Black but different' and they really mutts after all

If most paternal haplogroup is J, then Amhars and their ilk are not indigenous to sub-Saharan Africa. Additionally, many possess Bantu markers at a higher rate than Somalis and eastern Oromos.

I am gonna keep in the fam, no Habashi girl for me with 5% or more Omo, Bantu or Nilote coarsing through her veins.
