So I was reading this guy's newest article about the ethiopian philospher zera yacob and his hatata inquiry . Then I remembered how there is an entire argument about it being forged. Which seemed pretty convincing since you would normally find a precedent for any major philosophical idea or something that came after. On top of the fact that it was discovered by an Italian dude in the late 1800s. It seems way too likely to be forgery. It's still very heavily debated with big scholars on both sides. But to me the evidence points in the foreign direction.
