Xogo dheeraad ah ayaa kasoo baxay Safarkii Madaxweynaha Dowladda Puntland Dr. Siciid C/llaahi Deni, uu ku tagay Magaalada Addis Ababa ee Caasimadda Itoobiya, kaas oo ahaa mid aysan Madaxtooyadu shaacin ujeedkiisa.

Ilo-wareedyo rasmi ah ayaa u sheegay Shabakadda Idil News in Madaxweyne Deni uu Casuumaad rasmi ah ka helay Ra’iisul Wasaaraha Itoobiya Abiy Ahmed, taas oo la xariirta Iskaashi cusub oo dhexmara Puntland iyo Itoobiya.

Wararka ayaa intaas ku daraya in Itoobiya ay doonayso in Puntland ay siiso Hub iyo dhaqaale, si ay ula wareegto Gobalka Sool, oo intiisa badan gacanta ugu jira Maamulka Somaliland. Madaxweyne Deni ayaana illaa hadda Addis Ababa kula kulmay Madaxda Hay’adaha Difaaca Itoobiya, sida Hay’adda Sirdoonka iyo Gaashaandhiga, waxaana saacadaha soo socda uu la kulmi doonaa Raiisul Wasaare Abiy Ahmed.

Talaabadan ayaa timid kaddib markii Itoobiya ay heshay xog sheegaysa in heshiis Milateri uu dhexmaray Somaliland iyo Masar oo xiisad kala dhexeyso Itoobiya, kaas oo dhigaya in Somaliland ay siiso Masar Saldhigyo Ciidan, oo Badda iyo dhulka ah.

Bad Bad Bad geopolitical move by SL, getting in bed with Egypt and giving them a military base to bring in soldiers to attack Ethiopia. Now Ethiopa has just opened a 'war-front' on SL by backing PL. Maybe DDSI can 'attack' from the western side and pl thru the eastern side so we don't need to encounter casualties. Break up SL forces into 'two direction' one rescuing Hargeisa and Berbera from DDSI and another rescuing Burco n Erigavo from PL. Two directional warfare to split their 'resources'.

Complete 'surrender' is obvious, they won't even bother 'fighting' but just surrender while of course 'talkign a big game' on the media with baghdad bob stunts but we know 'media' is the last resort of a 'coward' on the run like Baghdad bob proved and I am certain SL will also be using that 'card'.

PL should also speak to China and get 'bigger' weapons, we don't need to implicate China delivering it, they can pass it down to 'middle men' nations like Dubai who can pass it down to 'smugglers' like in Oman or Yemen and reach Bosaso. It's not hard to get around the embargo as long as the 'tracks' of the bigger nations are covered.

We can promise China that we will remove Taiwan from SL, this is a great opportunity for PL to open ties with China using 'mutual interest' argument for both nations. I love SL, it has opened up 'opportunities' for PL

Somaliland is always the active player, Puntland is passive and just watches others react to what Somaliland does.

- First it was the UAE
- Then it was Taiwan
- Now it looks like Egypt

Each time Somaliland made a move, it instantly became made headlines. In this regard Somaliland's manoeuvring is explainable; it wants to make more international friends and increase its reach and influence.

On the other hand Puntland is always hoping someone else will help her fight Somaliland, be it Somalia's federal government, or now Ethiopia. Its sad. Puntland fully understands it can not beat Somaliland in a conventional battle, it lost every single encounter and throughout the years Somaliland was always the aggressor and expanding into territory that Puntland controlled.

If Puntland cant fend for itself, there is no reason to think others will help her when she has very little to offer in return. Puntland's economy is declining at an alarming rate, its Bosaso port which was the primary source of revenue is dying due to lack of investment, its currency is experiencing hyper-inflation at rates never seen before in Somali regions.. being involved with a much larger foe in Somaliland is a huge burden on the Puntland economy, the rational move here would have been to relinquish claims on Sool and Sanaag and build up their base.

No idea why they want to prolong their own suffering like this, for zero gains in 15 years.

Puntland has its power, wealth and resources diverted to 3 different arenas

1. Puntland
2. Mogadishu
3. Jubbaland.

Somaliland focuses on Somaliland completely and part-time on helping AlShaydaan.
I find it comical how they always brag about barely being more advanced than the state they were in 1980 when the entire Isaaq clan banded together.

" we are focusing our efforts in 3 different arenas"

"we are fighting terrorists in Galgala mountains and Bosaso"

"we dont have as much resources as Somaliland"

All I am hearing are excuses. Puntland appears to be stuck in the denial phase:

Puntland has been on the losing end for 15 years straight. Blaming others may make you feel better, but it is not going to make your problems disappear.

You lost territory almost every year to Somaliland, what is your solution? Every single president of yours promised to wage war and return the land to Puntland, and all of them failed. You are now stuck in this quagmire with very limited resources, your currency experiencing hyper-inflation and your economy dying due to lack of investment in Bosaso.

The way out is clear. If Puntland has no chance of defeating Somaliland, then exiting Sool and Sanaag and focusing on building your region is the obvious way out.

If you disagree, what is your solution?

UAE was in Puntland far earlier than Somaliland in the establishment of the PMPF, a 2000 strong force, founded in 2011.

Somaliland has relied on Ethiopia not only for arms but also to subjugate parts of Sool including in 2010-2011 in Buhoodle.

As @PuntiteQueen said our political capital is in multiple places, Somaliland spent those 15 years trying to convince Dhulbahante and Warsangeli to join them and they still haven't managed to complete that task, just like you couldn't get recognition for 30 years. Puntland on the other hand has accomplished most of its political objectives, federalism chief among them.

Puntland established ties with the UAE far earlier than Somaliland. This is the same UAE that is till today arming our forces and he brags about establishing ties with them like it's a great achievement.

Every move Somaliland does makes international headlines.

With regard to UAE, President Biixi gets the royal guards of honour on his arrival:

Biixi meets the royal family to discuss matters:

There are levels to this game.

You need to stop making excuses, you have been losing in Sool and Sanaag for 15 years straight. A change of strategy is in order, particularly now that your economy is facing such a steep crisis and your currency is going through hyper-inflation.

If you do not think Puntland should leave Sool and Sanaag and focus on its own problems, what other solution do you have?

Your crowning achievement is something we achieved first, never forget that. You haven't won Sool and Sanaag otherwise you would control them both and you are still unrecognized for 29 years.

Forget about levels, we are not even in the same league.

@FBIsomalia this @TabK is a kid who is new to politics. PL has met and done it all at high level.

But how can u talk waryaa when Bihi can't even walk among your 'region without bulletproof vest' while your boasting about him walking down the UAE red-carpet.

Respect starts at home not outside but from the inside. The way bihi travels in the UAE freely and unarmed is how u should be travelling in SL.
