I grew up with Eritreans and I have still many Eritrean friends. Eritreans generally don't hate Ethiopians except for the few. The majority of Eritreans are good people and know very well the difference between people and government. In almost every western universities, Eritreans and Ethiopians present their culture together. Both have habesha instagram and social media groups together. We have here churchs that serve both congregations together. If you think Eritreans hate the Ethiopian people then it is because you don't know Eritreans well. Ethiopians also don't hate Eritreans. Other than politics both people can very well differentiate between politics and people. Mature people! God bless the peoples of Ethiopia and Eritrea!

No, you guys are projecting your blind hate on Eritreans. Dude if Eritreans hate us like Somalis do, we would definitely know that. I for example know that many Somalis hate us, the people, to death. So if Eritreans were near like you guys, I would tell you the truth. Believe me Eritreans are not blind like most of you. I know them very well. We have similar mentality and culture. Please grow up. When it comes to food go to Eritrean restaurant and tell me if you can differentiate their food from Ethiopian. The same injera, the same sources, the same coffee ceremony etc. We have still some differences and I am always against a political unity or something like that. But when it comes to culture, religion, food etc. It is pretty much the same.

I grew up with Eritreans in Addis Ababa. Even during their struggle for libration they never hated ordinary Ethiopians, only the government. You know hundreds of thousands of Eritreans lived in Addis until the current regime deported them. Even those their families are deported they still don't hate Ethiopians because I have still very good contacts with them. Of course those that were affected are bitter and very angry specially at TPLF. People to people, Ethiopians and Eritreans don't have any problems. It is the regimes that are messing up everything.Fool read what I wrote. I will never support any political unity with Eritrea. My reason is simple, we had too much wars and unnecessary bloodshed. I'm sorry to tell you this but Eritreans hate Ethiopians more than Somalis. Average Somali person doesn't care for the existence of Ethiopia, let alone hate them. Doesn't matter what people you have been around, from me personally meeting Eritreans to seeing their people in Eritrea making protest against Ethiopia after the border dispute and showing pure hatred across social media. It's pretty obvious that they despise you Ethiopians so just be honest next time.

We or the Eritreans (with few exceptions) don't hate ordinary people just because our governments have beef with. That goes to Somalis also. We don't hate Somalis, period! Yes, Eritreans Rightly protest the occupation of Badme by Ethiopia. They have every right to do so and they have every right to hate the TPLF regime but they also know very well the ordinary Ethiopians have nothing to do with this stuff. I know their mentality bro, they are not like Somalis. Even after so many wars, there is no deep hatred between the two peoples.
