I know the most eloquent in Somali culture is the most eloquent in composing poems, for good reasons. But with regard to speeches, who do you think is the most eloquent? I´m not asking for an eloquent somali speaking a foreign language, only somali.

Some of the poets are also very eloquent when they give speeches so I don't think I'd count them out. The only speeches I can think of are from politicians, not sure if that's what your looking for.

I got a second opinion from someone with better Somali than me

They said Ahmed Madoobe, Ali Khalif and the speaker of the parliament (not sure if they were refering to the past or present one).

I enjoy the speech/storytelling from Hadraawi such as this one below.

1) Siad Barre
2) Ahmed Samatar
3) Most Somali clerics are good orators
4) Although he's literally crazy, Dabacasar can speak as can most mudug people

PM Khayre is undoubtedly the greatest speaker of Somalis since Siad Barre. His somali is so eloquent that I sometimes try to speak like him:lawd:

I think i have posted about this before, regarding Kheyre. Man is great orator. Has the apility to get his thought out in a verry articulate way.

Barre is another mashaqo that used his gift to his advance in the early stages of his reign.
