Egypt Current govt is simply itself in all honesty a backlash on Ikhwaan there after their Morsi experimemt post their arab spring mashruc and it also has alot of foreign interference as noone knows if an Egypt allied with USA and Khaleej(Minus Qatar) will hold off the Ikhwaan axis(Turkey, Qatar, number of contested areas globally including Somalia.

Egypt locals are all Ikhwaan, Ikhwaan are heavily active there in unofficial circles.

It's kinda like Shabab it's unofficially the Govt of the South but thru terror where as in Egypt it's thru minds n hearts, two different postures in Ikhwaan axis with Egypt and Somalia or with Egypt and any sunni country in Mid east, Africa, Asia.

It's a shame Erdogan is capitalising on it and giving it global teeth due to his obsession with returning to the old world prior to the west under Ottoman sphere of influence. Ankara will be the new DC and Beijing(combined) as he stokes conflict between China and the West so it depletes itself like Roman empire and Persia did before the rise of Islamic caliphate.

Erdogan is bloody stealth and the most dangerous politician in our time post Kissinger. The dude has multi dimensional postures winning hearts n minds yet also involved with armed factions or terror in Ikhwaan while brand building as humanitarian or Secular, dude even capitalizes on orphans of war and kids to show his a hero while investing in orphanages to set them up as trojans in that target nation. Im not saying the west is holy and doesn't do such things it does also. But it comes down to wars of ideas do u want to see a world where ppl r judged on their social identity or faith or their humanity and human rights.

I mean Syria fell to him a huge player in Mid east theater it ain't no Lebanon type of real estate.
