I guess when people are singing in afsomali. To somebody whos never heard it before the closest thing they can think of is that it sounds vaguely indic.

Ye but indians straight up using it to promote their gods thinking its hindi is weird. Dont they know their own language?

i dont have a problem with them using it. The same way they cry cultural appropriation is the same way im going to cry cultural appropriation

I know but the awful remix is made a white man who stole from a Somali band and made it sound like garbage. He didn’t credit Dur dur band. Same thing this band almost did
