if we simply followed the basic rule of civilization and took care of the land, we wouldn't have these issues.
1) stop coal shipments ( trees hold the soil together)
2) stop herding goats (they eat the roots of plants, and sharp hooves damage plant roots as well)
3) build cisterns, water treatment facilities, and modern irrigation systems. (we have two rivers and two rainy seasons)
These issues are man-made, the solution to our "famines" are simple. we are literally doing everything we can to destroy the land, and we need to start holding each other accountable.
