Drought situation in Jubaland

Journalist Abdirizak Atosh visited the district of Dhobley to document the ongoing drought taking place in the district and Jubaland state at large affecting thousands of families and livestock’s.

Ogaden & rural communities affected by the drought in Afmadow and Dhasheg areas have now migrated to Bulo Gadud & Gosha region. Jubaland government needs to accommodate the incoming migrants.

 
Jubaland state ministers representing the ministry of Humanitarian affairs, endowment & religious affairs as well as the ministry of Energy & water resources have aided the villages of Abdalla Biroole,Qarsaa,Turqato,Shabeleey and many more with water tanks for the livestock’s and civilians living in those villages.
