Dowry shouldn't be a discussion, i would even encourage people to reject her first demand, and suggest a much lower mehr as a gold digger test. I mean if she really loved you she wouldn't have a problem as long as she gets to be with you, if she gets mad then she failed the test, and she just see you as a meal ticket lol. Depends on the woman. If I fall in love with a woman and she's the best thing in my life, I'll try to give her the world. And personally, I don't see why I should settle for any other type of woman.

Nowadays women are working, so a lot of the classical romance done between men and women have differed. However, this doesn't mean there can't be some level of romance, especially to maintain the flame of a marriage.

Also, I think women support men differently in marriages. If the woman treats the man like a king and the man treats the woman like a queen, things should turn out alright when it comes to things like dowry.
