As a community who is affected quite a bit by autism I think we should really keep an eye on this focus on autism knowing Trump this could end up going disastrously wrong. Also the Amish absolutely does have autism it's probably insanely underdiagnosed because they isolate themselves so much.

Yeah they literally built themselves a society and have been quite successful at it. I agree I think they would have levels lower compared to the gen population but I agree with the main reason that's it's severely underdiagnosed but something that suprised me is this "Many assumptions suggest that the Amish community is largely unvaccinated; however, data indicates most Amish children have received at least some vaccinations. Estimates show that approximately 14 percent of Amish parents refuse vaccines altogether, which implies that the majority still vaccinate their children to some extent." This is not the information I hear lolI’ve took the time to read the link you’ve given me. It’s crazy how the Amish community isolates themselves. I do maybe think the presence of autism is there. But they definitely have a better mental state than us. Considering they don’t use social media as often than us. Their social lifestyle is just mostly natural connection which means they don’t have mental issues.
