I knew this was coming from a far distance. First he was demoted from the night prime time- and put in the early morning with two female anchors Poppy Harlow and Kaitlan Collins . Just watching them i could feel the tension. Poppy (the blonde one) can't stand Don's natural talents, and ease on the camera as he was with CNN for 17 years. Poor Kaitlan is between their drama, but Poppy influences her completely. But that did not stop me from watching them- i could feel the disgust and tension from Poppy- but poor Don was clueless. In a way, this might be the best for Don. He should have left when they demoted him months earlier, but since he is a black gay man- i think his opportunities dwindles by the day. Either way, i know he will be successful in some way or other, especially entertainment television. He doe have a personality, and talent! I think it boiled down to CNN not wanting to pay him big bucks with CNN seeing record low ratings. This is the story of corporates jobs. U climb the ladder, gain wages- and boom one day fired or laid off and u will start some where else from the scratch!

Don Lemon announced Monday that he's been "terminated" by CNN after 17 years and is "stunned."
