Does anyone know how to fix this hair problem?

I have medium-long curly hair and something I noticed was that my hair will stay moisturized but the roots and top part get dry quickly. So I resorted to using hair masks and they're great for my hair but they do nothing for my roots. I also haven't dyed or highlighted my hair before so I don't get why it won't stay as moisturized. I wouldn't care usually but it ruins the look when my hair is cute but the top is dry and frizzy. Maybe it's because I usually wear my hair up? Does anyone know how to fix this because it's annoying me.

YESSS! it’s a mess up here. The front of my hair is damaged and dry (I haven’t dyed nor touched my hair before) but the back is so good. I can’t even do a ponytail without my front bangs sticking up. It’s annoying me too+ I just did a moisturizing hair mask last night.

i have straight hair. When it’s wet it’s curly and 2 hrs later it dries straight. Everyday I blame my parents for this genetic mess :kanyehmm:

We're opposites, when my hair's wet it becomes straight. When it's dry it becomes curly. I don't get why my front is dry, I haven't really done anything to it? Maybe I need to wear my hair down more? Or start wearing silk headresses when I sleep.

I don’t mean straight as in white/Arab hair. 3b hair.

I can’t understand either why the front is dry either. As much hairmasks and oils I put in it, theres no change. I even bought a bonnet and theres no difference

There is no standard "White", "Indian" or "Arab" hair. Those groups generally have soft hair[Straight/Wavy to Soft Curly hair].
