Somalispot seems like a much more grounded place than twitter or Instagram.

Minus the crazies and trolls I feel like Iike most people on this site are much more reasonable people.

I open twitter and see a woman celebrating being the favorite baby mama and lose hope for humanity.

You're right, most people here are reasonable. Much better than the crazy shit you see on Twitter, with all those degenerates.

Cuz this site is much smaller than Twitter lol.

The better question is, do Somalis have the biggest internet presence among all East Africans? Somalis are everywhere on twitter, youtube, tiktok and forums like these seem more active compared to stuff like Mereja

On twitter you mainly see the accounts you follow and the ones they're connected to, so you see on average a few hundred accounts' tweets.

And yeah, cause every Somali back home has a damn phone now, even the ones in the baadiye. Somalis are a loud outspoken people so it's natural we have a large online footprint.

Not to mention that the trolls on here are very transparent and their schtick gets old quickly. Like Scipio Africanus and his stale Ana Arabism. Twitter trolls keep it fresh here and there.
