Do you wear a macawis?

Yea. I have like four or five. I wear nothing but Macawiis at home. Very comfortable. And on the occassion I need to make a quick trip to the caffee shop or to the minimart, I put on tight thermals underneath and roll with the macawiis.
I like the respect I get being so different from the rest as I shop. Everyone looks and African Americans snicker a little. I can almost hear their silent "what the f*ck dude" on their face. But who cares, I am proud Nomad.

And yes, using belt is ideal if you are new to Macawiis. I have it on without a belt all the time and it doesn't loosen.

Do you sleep with it and do you were anything under? If you're walking around with it during the day it's a no brainer but I think it would be even more comfy if you only had this light fabric on.

Damn these guys give zero f! some of those cadaans giving dirty looks lol. I'd feel uncomfortable going outside with a macawis because it kind of appears to be like some sort of women's clothes to someone who has never seen one.

Many cultures do have macawiis or similar type under garment for males. If you roll with it few times, you will get past your embarrassment and insecurities about it.
A good plan would be to get your buddies to wear all macawiis and hit the Somali restaurant on Sunday after Basketball game. Like, let us do something crazy and post it on IG kind of challenge.
It is no different from Rolling with Khamiis although I never wore Khamiis and have zero plans to ever wear one.

One of the reasons why I wouldn't ever step outside wearing one, people will just assume it is some skirt and might make shit assumptions lol You should have hooked your neighbor up with one so he can sit with you for a burgers and fkd session in your front yard

Caring about what others think when you are not doing anything wrong is not the best way to go about your choices.
Just remind yourself that the people who are judging are ignorant of your culture and need to be educated about other people's cultures. Most Americans would respect your choice if you explained to them.

Nothing but fresh air dude. Having it locked under jeans, thermal tights and underwear for many hours on was suffocating by the time you get home.
Nothing more comfortable like some xarir type Macawiis, fresh out of the drier and a t-shirt at home.

That is preferable tbh idk but I think it would allow for better airflow which comes in handy during summer times.
I don't care about other peoples opinions in almost everything that much but when it comes to fashion, the people around here are super judgmental so it's a bit risky atm.
