I honestly dont trust them. Theres something about them that screams "i am probably a psycopath that wants to come closer to you by being nice and later will get you fucked up". I feel like theyre the most dishonest people out there. How can you be positive 24/7 without having any negative thoughts? Thats some black magic shit right there. Theyre probably the kind of people who would smile in your face but f*ck your wife behind your back.

I would say a highly negative person is more draining than a highly positive one. Sometimes people are going through troubles or a period of despondency which is ok, but it's depleting over the long haul.

Most people are in a state of flux and flow so just because someone is being positive doesn't mean they feel the same way inside all the time. There is such a thing a thing as smiling depression.:siilaanyosmile: Also, some people put on a positive front because they don't want to burden or worry others. It's something to think about.

Instead of focusing on the person's disposition why don't you pay attention to their actions. That is a better barometer of trustworthiness.

Evaluate people's behavior and actions. If people are consistent and you find their behavior and actions to align with what you value, then you can give that individual more insight into your life. Ideal trust is not the aim nor is it healthy in my opinion.

Normally I just hold a low standard for people, so the margin of disappointment will be lowered substantially. I assume everyone is corrupt like myself, which they've time and time again constantly proven.

I would rather be around an optimist than a pessimist though.
