@GemState gold can be natural or can be 'processed'

however all gold has to pass this test

Raw gold appears brassy yellow and bright. If you think it is gold, place your hand between it and the sun to create shade over the gold. If it still appears bright in the pan, chances are that it is real gold. Fool's gold does not appear as bright when shaded.

We have so many resources but who will handle them? All of our politicians are western stooges and the ones who want are betterment will be killed, Africans are not retarded, they could become the richest on Earth but these elites pulling the strings is what will make us a shit hole forever.

Resource rich but human capital poor. I know I wud prefer human capital over any resource. Gimme Singapore type of economy then Saudi. Even Saudi r reforming from oil. I worked out the oil, even if we produce oil, 50% is gone to oil company, the 50% left depending on how many barrels a day isn't going to make us 'tycoons'. It will add maybe half a billion a year to the economy, WOW

How about for a start on a clan level to satisfy every single tribe in Somalia, we ask the clans to sell a percentage of their camels, 1 camel goes for 5000 dollars, so our economy would instantly be boosted by millions, local clans can utilize this money to urbanize their population and invest it into infrastructure, those people that live in mineral rich locations who can collect gold from the visible Earth should go in thousands to these places to get money, factories must be placed in all cities and all the states with rivers must adopt farming.

Regions like Bari are unexplored and have not been studied, probably due to the cost and terrain.

Guled think about the world consumes 100 million barrels a day x 365. That's 36 billion barrels a year. That needs to be split with OPEC and Russia who produce it all, how much 'segment' or market u think they will give Somalia. Somalis are unrealistics arab worshippers, they see arabs do something they want to copy not thinking it through.

@Guled85 we should be 'skills economy' where the world wants our 'expertise' in different fields, that long-lasting model, doesn't run out like natural resource or susceptible to global market shocks. Paul Kagame model 4 Rwanda is what I want for PL.

We have a lot of younger kids going to university’s and graduating but alot end up unemployed. My family in garowe told me a lot of ppl go to China for uni and didn’t graduate because they make a killing doing imports exports. How can we fill this huge supply of unemployed graduates ? We have the talent the issue is there’s no jobs besides manual work

As Puntland President I will demand a fact finding mission is sent to each country, determine their supply shortage sector and invests into the skills locally to train our students. It's like the indian model, that will put a-lot of pressure of govt for the time being.

Aged care is a 'growth sector' as the west is aging. Find out all occupations linked to aged care and demand we train our locals with certifications and PL opens pathways for them into those countries on work visas.

Key thing is having minerals and resources that are proven. Meaning known quantity , location, and extraction costs. Once you have this it’s easy to get loans and investments because company can put resources on balance sheet. Somalia resources is theoretical and much more research is needed for now.

Any resource we find like oil is blessing especially light sweet oil that is not contaminated with a lot of sulfite and heavy tar. Oil is in everhing clothes, car, plastic, rubber, medicine , fertilizer, heating

Usa 🇺🇸 Is number 1 @DR OSMAN

United States

The United States is the top petroleum liquids producer in the world, averaging 18.9 million b/d to account for 20% of the world’s production in 2021.2 It's also the top producer of crude oil and lease condensate at 11.2 million b/d as of 2021.3

In addition to crude oil and condensate, the broader category of petroleum liquids also includes natural gas plant liquids as well as biofuels. While the U.S. has been the world's top petroleum liquids producer since 2013 thanks to surging natural gas liquids production from shale deposits, it didn't surpass Russia and Saudi Arabia in crude oil production until 2018.
