We were given a country in 1960 called the Somali Republic. For 9 years it was a democracy. Somalis accepted Barre as dictator in 1969. Then after 1980's they rebelled against the dictator and destroyed the country. 30 years later Somalia is still a failed state and poverty is too high. On top of all that most Somalis are addicted to khat and have no job. They talk about the North being "peaceful" but every time there is disagreement you have clan violence. Do Somali politicians not care about Somalis? Do we have cadaw as leaders?
