The ones that Somali Halal stores sell are somewhat expired and look diseased but all of our hooyos still buy them.

Now I come to find out that almost all the American grocery retail stores sells them. Ive been buying from them.

What about you?

Do you just eat it cause its put front of you?

My family and I never eat the Somali dates.

We typically have this date every Ramadan and my hooyo buys it sometimes when it isn't Ramadan as well:

It's juicy and really soft which makes it better than all the other hard and non-juicy dates I had in the past.

But, that's just my preference.

The light brown ones tastes good.

I'm not sure what it's called, and I'm sure there are many types of dates with that color.

The dark ones are nasty

black

live and let die.
The only type of dates I enjoy is khalas (khelas??) My dad used to buy this pack at the nearest Turkish supermarket. I refuse to believe that shit was natural. I think they put all kinds syrup or malab on that shit. It was too good to be natural and healthy.

7 of those moist dates with a cup of milk :banderas:

I don't like the other types, they're too dry. Even fresh dates
