Do you guys prefer your childhood or adulthood?

Would you guys prefer to go back to childhood or stay in adulthood?
For the kids in here are you excited for adulthood?
For the adults here how did you react when you realised how painful life actually is when you escaped the façade of youth?

Well it depends do I retain what I know now if I where to go back? Because that would be another shot at life and I wouldn't mind especially with all the things you would know and could take advantage of before anyone else.

I used to think I had a boring childhood until I realised in my adulthood that I had it easy. Sure we didnt have much but we never really struggled for shit.

Adulthood is a painful lonesome grind ngl laakinse waa loo baahinyahay xanuunkaas.
It opened my eyes to things I was blind to and it helped me better understand what people are going thru.
Alhamdulillah tho even though life aint too easy at the moment, I prefer adulthood

No other shot at life just going back in time to relive the same stuff

I prefer adulthood, not because I enjoy, but because its less painful than childhood, being a child is like being a boxing bag people punch all the time and you don't know why you are being punched.
Being and adult I feel like a boxing bag where I am constantly being punched but instead I understand why I am being punched and can persevere through it and hope for something better on the other side.
I believe most of us idealise our childhood because we don't remember all the hard times day to day we only remember small events which we project onto our whole childhood, all in all it varies from person to person but I believe childhood is still very difficult people just do not recall the hardships.

Na then I'll stick with adulthood since I have a lot of regrets that I would rather fix then relive.

the fun parts are just not worth the hassle unless I can have Control of my childhood mentally.

Both my adulthood and childhood are great but if I'm just going to be doing the same things again I might aswell just carry on with my adulthood into the unknown.

I prefer the womb-hood

Silence can't see or hear don't know nothing just in warm liquid floating in womb space .

Bliss of ignorance of the real world

Childhood, had the best time of my life when I was a kid, would do anything to time travel, you people saying adulthood, must have had a terrible upbringing.

Childhood for sure, taxes, rent, other bills, employment, education etc. is a constant stress on the soul.

+1

I used to hold some things against our parents generation, like asking why every Somali dad was a cab driver, but growing up made me realise the hardships they went through, settling in a new country where everyone viewed you as invading vermin, while fleeing a war and having to dealing with that trauma/survivors guilt couldn't have been easy. I'm suprised more haven't reached their breaking point, that geeljire resilience is something.

Considering the circumstances they did more than fine, I'm actually proud of them.

Only thing that sucks about childhood is not being able to make your own money and having to rely on allowances and asking for stuff
