some or most people have this view of grown men who plays football or any competitive sports.
I don’t have any problem with those who plays sports: my only problem is the amount of $$$$ cash they get over simple sport.

As the saying goes, if it isn't broken don't fix it
The reason they get this much money is because of supply and demand.
Millions if not billions watch football, buy shirts, attend games. This all translates into billions upon billions of dollars injected into the sport. That money exists regardless of how much money footballers take.
The question is, if footballers get less money, who gets the rest?
The answer is the executives, tv companies and brands that are profiting off the hard work of footballers, many of whom grew up as working class kids working their arse off to get to where they are.
TLDR: If the money doesn't go to the players, it goes somewhere else.

“People like this”, lol he’s a scholar, they devote their life to studying and teaching the deen. He is probably happier than anybody in here.
That’s just his thoughts as a person. He doesn’t watch sports, so what? At least he’s not saying it’s haram to watch football
