Do Somalis publicize their dirty laundry on social media too much?

I don't know. most people I know don't really know much about somalis expect the obvious. or aren't paying attention. I've seen that with black americans though (people being entertained by their "dirty laundry") and turning them to spectacles

besides people tend to have different perceptions in house. e.g. a lot of people on the outside have the idea that we are more mysterious people who "stick to our own" (friendship, marriage) but a lot of somalis would beg to differ on that and would complain on something most people can't see. its all about the lens you use

Yea sadly I’ve seen many videos of black americans doing that on YouTube

These twitter xaarlimos are copying their madow "sisters" by constantly playing victims in very situation possible. The Somali community does have its problems which we need to address and I'm all for that, however social media isn't the place. Attacking Somali men / culture has become a personality trait for some girls.
