Do Somali even need loan words?

It seems like every loan word from other languages have their Somali counterparts. For example:

Albaab(Arabic):Irid(Somali)
Ajnabi(Arabic):Shisheeye(Somali)
Etc

So I wonder why Somalis adopted those words when we already had Somali terms for it at that time.

Ataturk killed the intellectual history of the ottomans when he de-arabized the language. So much culture and history lost. The average turk cant even understand ottoman turkish.

I think we took loan words because of the influence of Islam to Somalis. Somalis are prideful, they only people they bend backwards for are the Arab because they can’t differentiate Arabs from Islam.
