Those Chinese and Korean cultivation martial arts mangas are my junk pleasure. I love those characters that spend time finding and consuming some ancient root, meditating and expunging crap from their body, leaping ten times the power in rapid time with some broken philosophy, hiding their power levels, then going off to kill and sabotage the lives of the people who killed the character before he reincarnated by manipulating the world since he knows information that will happen. Build an empire and get the baddest chick around. It sounds stupid, but it checks all the boxes for me.
