Nobody knows Djibouti, so no stereotypes in their mind.

Depuis plus de 4 décennies que nous existons en tant que Peuple unique, soudé autour de valeurs telles la Liberté, la Solidarité, et tous ceci ne seraient possible sans la variable à toute prospérité; la Paix. Djiboutiens Noirs Afars, Somalis, ou Ethiopiens, ou Djiboutiens Blancs Arabes. Musulmans, Orthodoxes ou Athées, nous sommes tous les enfants des Pères Illustres, à l'instar de Mahmoud Harbi, Hassan Guled Aptidoon, Ali Aref Bourrhan, Barkat Gourad Hamadou, à eux, nous saluons et rendons hommage pendant cette fête qui chaque année nous rapproche de nos martyrs.
Happy Independence Day to all Djiboutians!
On this day, June the 27th 2021, I'm wishing a very pleasing independence day to my fellow Djiboutians, in all parts of the World to those who live in remote villages in Djibouti.
Our longevinity is as recent just 4 decades, We (as a United People) do exist, all in one, around the noble values of Liberty, Solidarity, which wouldn't exist without the spinal cord of all prosperity; Peace! Dark, White, Arab Djiboutians. Muslim, Orthodox, and Atheist Djiboutians, We are, any one of us, the Children of the Illustre legends of Djibouti, such as Mahmoud Harbi, Hassan Guled Aptidoon, Ali Aref Bourrhan, Barkat Gourad Hamadou, to Them we Salute and honour our martyrs, each following year, dearly.

Happy Independence Day to reer Djibouti
We just finished our lunch:
we had a Djiboutian style of rice; colourful (Safran) pigment, with goat meat cooked inside of the hot (and steamy) rice. Followed with some Djiboutian Bisbass, and a Salade of green leafs, boiled eggs, sliced tomatoes, some corn. As our tradition wants that we cook also the meat (again, goat) separated, we cooked a few (perfumed) meat, and its juice! Fantastic food tbh.
Staying truthful to our tradition is one thing, but we did change today's menu with our neighbors and family members (french here): we added wine (Bordeaux, Pessac wine) and the spices were not saddicly hot (to accomodate to our guest's taste).
And, last but not least, we finished it off with an Apple pie (with some cream).
