The poverty rate is 40%, five times better than Somalia, and the unemployment rate is only 15% Things are improving quickly there While there is no government in Somalia It suffers from drought annually, where thousands die, and wars between tribes .terrorism .Unemployment reaches 60% That's why I think Djibouti is much better than Somalia

Somalia can look first world if you take pictures in the right spaces. What matters are the stats.

Djibouti is developing, albeit smaller than it actually should. But there's a stark wealth inequality. Very few citizens live in those properties shown in the TikTok, and a lot of people, even in Djibouti city, live in districts that frankly look like informal settlements.

Average per capita income in Djibouti is what I mean :mjlol: But the poverty rate in Somalia is probably 70% or 80%.

Why do you make Djibouti appear to be way ahead of Somalia? No offense to Djiboutians, but according to the World Food Bank, the poverty rate stands at 79%, of which 42% live in extreme poverty.

It's therefore not unreasonable to wonder how they have such a high poverty rate for a country with relative stability and peace, and without a major war since its independence.

Well, you can look at per capita income and compare it with Somalia. Although Djibouti is a small country, it is improving and extreme poverty rates are declining. This is what does not happen in Somalia.
You are also a fanatical nationalist, of course you will defend your poor country vigorously 💀

This thread was about Djibouti, I suppose? Can't you tolerate constructive criticism without having to mention Somalia? I used factual statistics to prove the current status of the country, and for a country with its conditions; you'd logically expect more.

Fanatical nationalist? You must have a false perception of me and my views, lol. You surely can't differentiate when I'm being sarcastic and when I'm being totally honest. And I don't come from Somalia either. What's more accurate is you being a Somalilander and every chance you get to speak of Somalia; you do so in a negative light. Even when it has nothing of relevance to the topics.

Speaking of poor country; you hail from the very same poor country. Get off your high horse buddy:mjlaugh:

I do not consider myself belonging to Somalia or Somaliland. I am a citizen of a first world country and there I grew up and got a life that does not make me part of the underdeveloped societies.
I just posted it so people can see that there is improvement in Djibouti but they are also a backward country.
And if you hate Isaaq Since you are an average African that's not my problem
And if you are not Somali, what are you, a Djiboutian, or an Ethiopian Somali? It's the same shit

I remembered a friend of mine, he went to Djibouti and could only describe its development compared to them by saying: their roads are paved and black!
