I have been to Djibouti although the cost of living is expensive and too hot and the Govt is corrupt they have atleast peace and dignity. Very diverse small country Somali president, Afar PM and Speaker and Arab Yemeni Mayor of Djibouti city. It's better to share a country with Non Somalis.

I’m not sure, but there’re someone behind the scenes being groomed for the position as we speak. It will most likely be a relative or someone from his sub-clan.

He recently mentioned in an interview that he will not be standing up for yet another presidential term. I don’t trust his words, but it wouldn’t be unrealistic given how he want his close circle to maintain power. It then makes sense that he facilitates a change of power while he’s alive to avoid power struggle when he’s dead.
