Working as a maid in the gulf can be horrible. There are good families out there who treat their maids well but they are not protected by the government if a family treats or abuse their maid. I get the vibe that the government would side with the family majority of the times and might cover up with some fake story if the family has done some horrible things. Look at the maid that fell of the building in Kuwait. This is just one of the reasons why I don't want to live in the middle east even though I grew up there.

I would say i hope arabs as a whole become refugees so that they can experience the pain of being mistreated in a foreign land, but then i remembered that arabs don't give a f*ck and abuse the natives in their own land wherever they go and even take pride in flooding countries instead of fighting for their own.

I have had good Arab friends so I won't generalize. But I bet they will get more respect than Somalis if they ever come to Somalia just like the Yemen refugees staying in Somalia at the moment.
