I remember my friend use to tell me never tell her older sister who was the same age as me My successes in life, work, partner, money etc. she said her sister is the type who would be jealous and could give you Ayn “literally this girl will read adkhaars when her sister is near LOL . I found it so weird a sister would say this about her sister. But i knew she was telling truth and i never really shared things with her sister cause i had that gut feeling already she is not a genuine person lol.

is my friend a good person for telling me about this about her sister? I never tell things about my siblings to others cause they are my blood

It’s not good to tell others about your family situations because they’ll spill the beans to others when y’all fight. They’re things you share with friends and things you keep to yourself.

Anyone who’s talking shit about their family to you should be avoided at all costs. It’s one thing to have family issues, but it’s a completely different thing when you tell others about it.

I’d be weary of this “friend” because she’s spilling your secrets to others, if she’s capable of doing that to her own sister. That’s foul.

Some people have a strong evil eye they hit people with quickly. In Somali they are called qumay/qumayo. So it's best to be warned of them.

When these qumay hear good news of someone, the person's evil eye affects you strongly. It can badly affect your life, hurt you/make you sick and lose your good fortune.

I believe your friend was looking out for you but she went about it in a wrong way. Better to indirectly warn you than to expose their own family.

Also adding, yes evil eye and xasad is real. But I think we take things too far in assuming that everyone is out to harm you and is jealous of you. It can breed paranoia. Best to read adkhar, ayatul kursi and use discernment when talking about personal matters, on and off social media.
