Dirty and expensive water should be unacceptable and needs to be combated

A whole village without water, is that possible? I guess it depends on what part of Somalia someone lives. Hargeysa has the same problem but they are spending millions to fix it.

Paying 6$ for just 3 litres of dirty water is crazy. Water is life, without it life is ......, In Galmudug you can get 3 litres of camel milk for $2.5.

I have fresh crisp clean ground mineral water straight from a tap in my house in Bandiradleey and I pay about 6$ a month.

5 water trucks won't solve this water shortage. How can someone pay 6$ for just 3 litres. How would they wash, cook and clean with just 3 litres, are you crazy? And this water is already dirty and populated. Right now there is no water.

It doesn't help that petrol prices have risen. Water trucks travelling 80 miles to collect some dirty water is ridiculous.

Again we have enough dams to last us a while after a rainy season, dowlada badhan has enough aquafiers in its land they can dig through from Northern Sanaag

Northern Sanaag for example sees more rain than any other region in Somalia, we have 1000s of waterfalls every 20kms there's a well.
