Yea my dad's from SL and my mom's from Djibouti. I've never really seen it before. Looks good though
 
I've bought this from Somali sweet shops and I learned how to make it from the xawaash.com people.

Come on fellow northerners, step up your game.

Has nothing to do with being Somali. Many foods in the south aren't known in the northwest because the south had certain culture exchange that the northwest didn't so they aren't familiar unless they lived in the south at one point.
