I would say there’s about 70,000 I’m mn. I read that there’s about 60,000 in Canada and 100,000 in the uk. These numbers accurate to y’all ?

The Canadian and UK figure includes second generation Somalis and not just Somalia born.
Highly doubt there are 400k Somalis in the UK.

I do believe it or at least close to that. Who do you think makes the most Muslims from African backgrounds? Plus that's the 2011 UK census - that was 7 years ago. Most of the black people in the UK are not Caribbean anymore but African so I am sure Somalis make up quite a chunk of that.Highly doubt there are 400k Somalis in the UK.

Exactly, these guys don't live here lol. Somalis are non-existent outside a select few neighbourhoods in a couple of cities. I would put Somalis at an absolute maximum of 250k including people born in the UK.
I do live here and around 2011 I hardly used to see many Somalis but I do notice them a lot more today. This guy brought up a 2011 census to justify why it's not close to that number. 250k is still a lot. I'd say 300 - 350k is plausible.
There are a few fellows on here that know the population of every place Somalis have settled and the clan demographics.

They are based on self-reporting for Second/Third generation. Some of those idiots check Black, Mixed, or Arab. Many also don't fill in anything.
Also, many Somalis in the West were born in the Arab world or Ethiopia, Kenya etc.
It's hard to get a true picture of how many Somalis live in the West. I'd say the best method is probably the Somalia born population x 1.5 or 2.

Black people are laangaab in the UK. Even if you put all black people into 1 category, South East Asian people significantly outnumber people of African and Afro Caribbean descent.
Those SE Asians accounted for 8% of the total UK population in 2011.
