Our culture isn’t a marketing strategy
We are not being “represented” but marketed to by our local community centers.
Hurdada ka kaca. This doesn’t help us in anyway
>Be Somali
>swear by Identity politics
>get scammed by ur local overpriced maqaayad
>get xooged by ur community centers dire entrepreneural gaajo boon business of dhaanto ganacsi aspirations.
>die an odhay who wasn’t a “nacas to dadhkiis” while you got penetrated by ur crippling cope of false Somali kinship
I've been "أنا عربي" so hard growing up that I don't know anything culture-wise in Somalia. The autist dance looks like something the Ethos would do. Like genuinely, what is Somali culture that didn't disappear after the civil war? We have FOBS emulating African-American culture at this point.
