Hair is hair, and Somali hair, in my personal experience, varies from person to person. I was not lying when I said my little brother and one of my sisters have hair that it close to 4C, in my original post I said "4C-ish," though most of my family has 3B hair. I have seen Somalis with all sorts of different hair textures. Is our hair softer on average compared to other Africans? Yes, but to deny the existence of thicker hair on some Somalis is stupid.

I don't want to sound rascist but we somalis differ massively to west africans when it comes to hair and our roughest haired indviduals is west africans softest hair individuals. I have a cousin who is called beehive and stone hair (don't knoe how to spell the somali word for)in my family and he once stood next to me jamacian friend and the hair between the two was like night and day. One felt like wool whilst the other literally felt like stone it was so hard. You must be confused if you said ur family was 4C because I can assure u they would struggle to even brush that. sometimes I think somalis have no concept on how rough west africans wallahi because you wouldn'the have said that if u go feel it.

I am very much aware of how thick West African hair is relative to Somali hair, and I have acknowledged in my previous posts that Somali hair is softer than the hair of most Africans on average. This is the type of hair I see on my sister

And in most of the Somalis I know this is the prevalent texture, albeit more coarse and fuzzy, if that makes sense

And for the record there's exceptions on the other side as well. I had an aunt with very straight-wavy hair, the type you'd see on a Hispanic/Latina girl

And no, my family is purely Somali and we are part of one of the major qabiils. I have absolutely no reason to lie to you about hair, and, again, I'm simply speaking on what I, myself, have seen

You seem very fixtated on this so I'll say it again for the last time. Somali people on average have soft hair. Some Somalis have thicker hair. My sister's hair is close to 4C, or 4C-ish. I made this thread with the intention of finding out why I saw a considerable amount of Somali girl using substances like Diana cream and relaxer and where this came from, and you somehow saw fit to get triggered over an observation to the point of making generalizations about Somali girls and calling me an idiot.
