Is this true? because thatβs one dumb move. Garowe is more strategic and a better place for a capitol.

Garowe is the capital of Puntland State already and will stay that way. Galkacayo is where major stakeholders meet so it will be our new Capital.
The current situation is a hell no- Mogadishu is a Hawiye city which they made violently clear in 1991.
The capital should be "rotating"- between all Federal Member States. Every few months, the President and cabinet should move to another FMS's capital city;

Mogadishu gets all the international funding, all the military aid and most of the NGO jobs etc.

The Capital should not be held hostage by one clan. It should be a rotating capital or Somalis should go their separate ways. I'm tired of Unuka Leh "politics".
I get the benefits but the negatives outweighs it. Perhaps i can live with your rotating capital.

This is actually a great idea. HG and the MJ sub clan who formed Puntland and brought back Somalia from the ashes settle there both. A city shared by two powerful sub clans. It could actually work out.

Definitely fake news plus Garowe and Bosaso is a more suitable option for the capital than Galkacyo considering our noisy non functioning neighbours Galmudug

I'm a centralist and have no problem moving the capital IF it brings benefits. Agree. But honestly we need a large city. If the landers weren't secessionist Hargeysa would be the best option but it's impossible.
I think Garowe, Baydhabo, Bosaso, Kismaayo etc are good but the best would be to stay far away from terrorist controlled areas. Baydhabo is way to close to AS territory, same with Kismayo and Jowhar. The capital should at least in Galgaduud (dhusomareeb) but it would be better if it's in PL (Boosaaso, Garoowe or Galkacyo)
