The doors might’ve been open but communication was shut off, no one was taking them serious and Farmajo completely ignored them. That’s called shutting it down when you come from a 3rd world country like Somalia.

Do Amisom and NGO see Somalia as a cash cow? Yes, of course, the average AMISOM soldier is getting $1000 USD a month, which is a lot of money for them. Alot of NGO's make a lot of money from Somalia.
Would Somalia be stable without the support of foreign countries and AMISOM, absolutely no way? We like to act like we could manage on our own, but as soon as they leave we would have turned on each other, and Al Shabab would have overrun most of the country.
Most of our funding comes from donor countries, they literally fund our army, politicians, and civil servants.
Deni who's speaking like that survives on donor funds.

Deni is right, I think he is being genuine here and even if he wasn't being genuine and wanted to act all wadani to improve his credentials for Villa Somalia...I would argue this is smart politics. If small MX can be national president then definitely the much larger MJ can
