For many years Ive been seeing the same lie regurgitated by Small tribes and centralists that”TPLF created Somali federalism to make us weak”
This is a lie, Federalism was mentioned in 1947 by the HDM political party, however it was rejected by the SYL because they saw strength in unity (see below)

Decentralised form of governance was also suggested during Siad barre’s early days of power before turn the civil society into a harsh, cruel dictatorship.
The men who requested decentralisation left their posts & were later persecuted

As you can see from the evidence provided “Federalism” was always on the mind of Somalis long before the TPLF.

The idea of federalism has existed long before the UN trusteeship, when people say TPLF sponsored federalism being adopted in Somalia they are not lying its factual, and can be proven quite easily, TPLF did not hide their plan and wishes that federalism being adopted in Somalia was in their interest as they feared Somalia returned to its glory days.

Foreigners do not care about the injustices or dictatorship of Siad Barre, they feared his foreign policy and will do anything to prevent Somalia returning to such a state of independent foreign policy.
