DEBUNKED: Afghan Girls Are Banned from School

Time to fact check the non-stop propaganda against the sovereign nation of Afghanistan.

Ever since the US’s withdrawal from its bloody, evil, 20-year occupation of Afghanistan, Western outlets have claimed that the Afghan government hates women! They hate women so much, in fact, that they prevent women from even going to school! [gasp]

Many liberal and feminist Muslims jumped in lockstep with the liberal hegemonic discourse, like drones, repeating the talking points their masters in the UN and US State department had given them.

But, when we get passed the propaganda and the lies, it seems like the truth is very different from what these liberal outlets and their bot armies portray.

I came across this tweet by a popular Western propagandist on Twitter, Shabnam Nasimi (one who has been caught on multiple occasions plagiarizing the work of others):

Nearly everyday, her account posts the same lines about the Taliban banning women from education, etc. This time she posted this very revealing article.

The title of this article is incoherent, as I pointed out in my reply to Nasimi.

How can girls be banned from school if they are allowed to go to… school? This is a contradiction in terms.

Before getting to the content of this article, let us note that it is published by RadioLiberty, which is an official US government propaganda outlet. They openly admit on their About page that their funding is from the US Congress.

The fact that Nasimi pushes this US outlet, which is incessantly whining about Afghanistan and attempting to agitate for more Western belligerence against the country, is not surprising. But what is surprising are the revelations in this article.

Consider:

Inside the Islamic seminary, dozens of teenage girls sit on the floor, rocking back and forth, as they recite the Koran, Islam’s holy book.
Among them is Zohra Jalali, who was in her final year of school when the Taliban seized power in 2021. The militant group soon banned girls above the sixth grade from attending school, shattering her dream of becoming a doctor.

Oh no! She wanted to be a doctor! There are millions of Afghan girls. Were all of them planning to be doctors? How many female doctors does a country need, exactly?

Jalili is now among the thousands of teenage girls who have enrolled in Taliban-run madrasahs as a last resort to continue their education. The militants have allowed girls of all ages to study at seminaries in Afghanistan, a predominately Muslim country of around 40 million.
“We want our regular schools to be open,” the 18-year-old told RFE/RL’s Radio Azadi. “Besides religious education, we also want to study other subjects.”
The Taliban has vowed to root out all forms of the modern secular education that thrived in Afghanistan after the U.S.-led invasion in 2001 toppled the Taliban’s first regime.

So, the truth comes out! Education is not what girls in Afghanistan are banned from studying. It is “modern secular education” that they are banned from studying.

It’s hilarious that the article even says that such education “thrived” when the US was occupying the country, as if this is some merit to the US. “When we bombed and invaded your country, killing countless people, our preferred educational model thrived!”

But the point is, girls can indeed get an education in Taliban-controlled Afghanistan, but it is a religious education, rather than a modern, secular one.

So, not only does the US arrogate to itself the right to invade and destroy any country at will for any reason, it allows reserves the right to dictate to everyone on the planet the exact nature of the education they must get. And then if you call this liberal hegemonic regime “totalitarian,” the liberal secularists start sperging out about how you “don’t understand” liberalism.

Since regaining power, the militants have converted scores of secular schools, public universities, and vocational training centers into Islamic seminaries, leading to a surge in the number of madrasahs in the country.
The Islamist group has also vowed to overhaul the national curriculum and build a vast network of madrasahs across the country’s 34 provinces.

Shouldn’t this be what every Muslim country does? Shouldn’t every Muslim country overhaul its educational system to make it Islamic and purge it from un-Islamic or anti-Islamic content?

But this is not allowed by the liberal West. If you take control of your own educational system based on your people’s religion, they will make non-stop calls for sanctions or bombing to punish you and force you to submit.

By the way, remember when we found out how Israel was modifying the Islamic educational curriculum in several Arab countries and implanting pro-LGBT, anti-tawhid, pro-Zionist material, with the permission of those Arab governments?

Basically, if you do not allow Israel to educate your daughters, the US will launch this massive media campaign to portray your government as an evil misogynistic regime of pure hate.

Tamina Qudusi, a former university student, told Radio Azadi that the Taliban’s attitude toward modern education is self-destructive.
“How can we [Afghans] stand on our own feet if we don’t have [modern] education?” she asked. “Uneducated women won’t be able to achieve anything.”
Qudusi enrolled in a madrasah in the northern province of Parwan after the Taliban banned women from studying at universities in December. She said attending a seminary would allow her to at least receive some form of education.

If Tamina is a real person, then hopefully she will learn something at the madrasah she is attending. Maybe she can learn not to worship the West. Maybe she can learn that the success of any people is in the Hands of Allah and due to the obedience of Allah. Maybe she can learn the Islamic standards of success — instead of atheistic materialist standards. Maybe she can learn how Allah blesses those who follow guidance, both in dunya and akhira, whereas those who turn their backs to guidance in pursuit of secular materialism face humiliation and defeat in both dunya and akhira.

That would be a real education.

At Taliban-run madrasahs, students learn to read and memorize the Koran, which is written in Arabic, a language that few Afghans understand. They also learn about the teachings and sayings of Prophet Muhammad.
Neda Rahmani, a former university student from the southwestern province of Nimroz, said limiting education to religious studies is a detriment to Afghanistan, where men and women are needed in all fields, including in education, health, and even the security sector.

None of these sectors require a Western secular education. For example, yes we need women in the security sector as religious police who can enforce Islamic modesty standards. In order to train a fleet of female religious police officers, it is precisely a madrasah education that is needed. The female religious police, of course, will ensure that no liberal women can can take to the streets to corrupt Afghan society.

The Taliban has defended its efforts to root out modern secular education.
Mawlawi Abdul Jabbar Saqib, the head of the Taliban’s education department in Ghor, said “modern education is not compulsory for women.
They must get the correct knowledge of religion for themselves and their families,” he told Radio Azadi.

Sounds very sensible.

But many Afghan religious figures and teachers disagree. They have accused the Taliban of using madrasahs to brainwash the young generation with their extremist ideology and erase modern forms of education.
“We need modern education as much as we need bread and water,” said an Islamic scholar in Nimroz who spoke on condition of anonymity for fear of retribution. “We must have female doctors. We also need women engineers and teachers.”

What a load of nonsense. As I have argued extensively, secular education for women is nothing other than a means to empower women to positions where they will undermine Islamically-ordained patriarchy. Undermining that patriarchy spells doom for any society.

Overall, Afghan’s government just wants an actual ISLAMIC school system based on ISLAMIC KNOWLEDGE and ISLAMIC VALUES.

The West says, this is not acceptable. If you don’t have LIBERAL education teaching women to be empowered lesbians and that there are 534 different genders, then that’s not REAL education.

The whole campaign about “Taliban bans girls from education” has been a complete hoax based on the Western refusal to acknowledge Islamic education as “education” and Islamic schools as “schools.”

This also exposes all the Muslim simps who have been crying about Afghan girls not going to school. These simps just want Afghan women to go to UN-run secular schools. Since the Taliban does not allow that and instead allows madrasah education, they are crying.

These simps are just agents of the liberal secular hegemony.
