Shrubs, trees must be planted by roadsides to prevent sand getting into the roads. I can see there has been space made for it, hopefully that is apart of a second phase

It varies where in some parts of the country, esp. in mountains terrain in Bari, you may not see much of shrub, or trees, but the rest of the country is nice and green, esp. 'caduun'.

If that is the case, then it is very smart on their part. Currently, main inter-regional roads are 20 km single-lane, which are rather narrow, if dangerous, but in 10 years time, esp. in Mudug, those will not suffice. Let us hope the GGG project sets a new standard. At a minimum, dual-carriage roads shall be needed for heavy traffic.
