Not exactly. Reer Xamar is technically all the people of Mugadisho, Xamar means Mugadisho. Xamar Cad Cad I think is what you're referring to. They do have Arab in them but they're multiracial, they've got Persian, Indian I think maybe even Chinese too and of course Somali. They're also called Benadiri but they aren't ethnic Somali.
