I’m predicting FGS doesn’t recognise any of these movements in Sanaag and Sool and continues treating them as if they’re part of SL. This will be the minimum requirement from SL for re-starting SL and Somalia talks and will be supported by the IC.

It’s a pretty safe bet the 1m1v elections will be confined to the FMS’s.

With us moving away from elders selecting MPs and 4.5 there’ll be no SSC representation in Somalia if they don’t have a polling station in SL. This will benefit HAG as our percentage of Somalia Italiana increases with every less Darood vote.

Somalia Italiana is a good description for the current FGS borders.
I ain’t Abgaal but Hiraab is 25% of Somalia. 30% of Somalia’s actual borders. Add the rest of Hawiye then yes we’re a plurality-near majority. It’s in HAG interest for non-SL elections, I welcome this move by HSM and hope we all look forward for the first 1m1v election in Somalia Italian

i said this already Abgaal + other hawiye are neutral, supporting reer LA, or simply don't care for this recent sl fiasco. only few habargidir care for obvious reasons (they are the only hawiye clan that border darood and so a weakening of any darood is in their interest). that's how its always been but this forum loves to lump all hawiye in one box for some reason.
