I don't understand what is so cringe about black Americans wanting Egyptian history to stay African (which for them means balck). There is a show on the history channel where they try to say aliens built the pyramid.... i mean for white people it's more believable non existing beings building the pyramid over black (African) people.They are fighting to keep African history, African. We should applaud them for it.

I bet if they find a bunch of old shit in Somaila they will say Arabs did it before saying somali

Why are African Americans so embarrased to be West African?

West Africa had a great empires like Mali but they were all Muslims, and AA don't want to claim them for that reason. Even, the moors in Spain went to America as sailors with Columbus and some of AA were descended from them. They don't want to link with Muslims.

How is this any different from the Somalis that claim Ancient Egypt? Or the Somalis that claim Arabs/yemenis? Or the Somalis that are now even claiming xabashis?

Plz don't change the subject and drag us here. First, Somalis have ancient links with Egypt through land of punt. About Arab and Yemen Somalis were trading with them since roman age. Plus, we have Somali tribes in Yemen, Oman and small numbers in Saudi.
