I've watched too many 48 hours/ Dateline murder documentaries to know what could happen here.

He could get away with doing something to him, probably with a perfect crime.

This is the land of "guilty beyond doubt". All he needs to work on is to create doubt and he is capable of doing that when eliminating him. For god's sake the man is a millionaire.
