Good job
He deserves far more than that, but that's a start.
I know that Africa needs democracy, but Western style democracy wouldn't be the answer; we need something more technocratic and stringent.
I've recently had to discard my earlier naive views on democracy in Africa
Looted his country at behest of an old colonial power, attempts to spend his swag on chinese made rags in colonial capital, gets curbed stomped by diaspora from looted country.
Most of the dominant countries, economically speaking, did not initially industrialize and develop as "democracies". The UK, SK, Germany, Japan... lots of people also don't know how much a lot of these countries got handheld by powers like the US in their current form. Japan's current constitution was closely overseen by the US whilst it was ruled for about half a decade by a US General who held the title of "Supreme Commander for the Allied Powers".
Autocracy and strictly policed state creates the stability required for initial economic development. Once the population is affluent and infrastructure is established you can turn to "democracy" which is a sham anyway under capitalism as, due to the nature of money and wealth inequality under capitalism, it simply turns into an oligarchy masquerading for the masses as a representative democracy. But at least they get rights like "free-speech" here and there.
Their qabil would not allow itCan't wait for the day a somali politician gets jumped like this![]()
