This guy was against PL 1m1v and wants to appoint his own hand picked committee to oversee elections all while expecting KG and JL to avoid indirect elections until they can form infrastructure, laws, and services before November. There’s so many wrenches in his plan, that if it works, he deserves it. NCC could meet next month again if they’d like to solve the impasse as they left without agreeing how state elections should go.
issues so far
1. No PL since the first signatures in 2022
(PL hasn’t participated since the first signatures which is huge and has a case for not doing so to the IC, this could very well send them back to the tent. Unless Hassan plans on having a somalia without PL, which the IC might not accept, they’d either force deni or Hassan to bend the knee)
2. Indirect election impasse (if they hold indirect elections, 1m1v would come crashing down, as they all signed to not hold this type of vote until 1m1v)
3. illegal extensions being placed (if any opposition would come forward to exert pressure, this would be the time.)

Maqaamka Mogadishu is a national issue not a parliament of 4 regions issue. It's the capital, it has to be distinct at all times from the regions it claims to represent. It cannot take upon a political, tribal, regional character that's for damn sure. That's just some minimum requirement the status of mogadishu has to fulfill, those criteria won't change no amount of copying or looking to foreign models or thinking some one grand person or 300 ppl in some building will decide. It's a national topic and needs to address alot of criteria before it can be recognised as a capital.
Mogadishu behaves like a regional govt and it needs to be given regional status not fucking national status, throw their ass into hirshabelle somalis have had enuff of ppl trying to loot national titles while behaving as clans, hisbi n koox or gobol.

Xamar is home to millions of people who will Inshallah in the future decide their representatives. Banaadir will be a state soon. They will decide their own future. Not others.
It will also remain the capital as there is no alternative for the foreseable future.The only thing the FGS needs is buildings and lands to operate from. Basically Villa Somalia, parliament, military bases, tax office etc. Most of these are already located at Xamar.
I don’t understand you. Making banaadir a state will strenghten federalism. The locals will not care about the ruling presidents qabiil because they can elect their own representatives from their homes. Think about this. You are not thinking logically at all, just emotion.
@El Nino How can Mogadishu take upon a political or tribal or regional character? it's a huge violation of the purpose of a capital since not all Somalis share a political party or idealogy, they sure as hell don't share clan or region.
On what grounds can Mogadishu claim to be a capital yet has no distinct national character meaning it has to be absolutely not involved in federal politics only local, and it can't have a clan or regional character as the nation isn't from one clan or region it will cause division and hence it won't serve its purpose of national unity.
Is it emotion on my part to ask Mogadishu to have a national character distinct from other towns and states since its a capital for all? Is it emotion to ask how can they fulfill its national obligation and duty? nah I think the emotion is on your part cause u can't answer your emotional crap and address those criteria.
I'd ask this same question of any city proposing to be or claiming its a national capital yet has a clan, regional, political character. That's not emotion that's called rule of law it don't bend and curve or cuts corners its a sword and noone escapes it.
I know your moryan minds wanting to bend, curve and essentially destroy the rule of law due to clannism and we can't allow it or else the whole state crumbles if the rule of law isn't as strigent and strong with no exceptions unless Somalis as a whole give it some. It has to be a sword the rule of law or else everything comes crumbling down later.

Bending minor laws that don't leave behind national disaster is one thing but trying to bend and curve nation state pillars, is only heading towards another failed state, khayrul masuliyeen are responsible who are mainly the second rates from siyad era and some scholarship student who follow in siyad elite wisdom.
My dad don't like me talking about Somalia or PL, he rarely even talks to them other then eid and funerals, no joke his face goes absolute like wtf r u doing wasting your time with that place, that place was handed to second rates while the real elites are dying overseas.
