I wish there was coca cola bottled in the script in that time period.
But siad barre had to ruin it by choosing ugly Latin.
Somali in Latin looks unfortunate. Imagine writing a book in it. Disgraceful. Would rather use Far wadaad Arabic script. Better suited and used near a millenia among the Somalis.

Osmanya and Ge'ez I don't mind as well but Somali linguists should better suit it to fit Somali and certain small dialects like Maay.

Latin is better than the fake script osmanya since it can help with learning other languages

Latin doesn't help you learn shit πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚.
Sure at least you know what sound C makes. But that's about it. You can learn any script in about a couple weeks.

Korean script is easiest in the world, you can literally learn it in little over a weekend. Yet the Korean language is one of the hardest. Latin script helping you learn other languages is laughable. It doesn't.

You cannot learn a language script in a couple weeks let alone a weekend lmao. It took me and my brother several months of daily practice to fluently read the Quran and I'm sure thats the case for most people trying to learn a new script
