The Clash of Civilizations is a thesis that people's cultural and religious identities will be the primary source of conflict in the post–Cold War world.[1][2][3][4][5] The American political scientist Samuel P. Huntington argued that future wars would be fought not between countries, but between cultures.[1][6] It was proposed in a 1992 lecture at the American Enterprise Institute, which was then developed in a 1993 Foreign Affairs article titled "The Clash of Civilizations?",[7] in response to his former student Francis Fukuyama's 1992 book, The End of History and the Last Man. Huntington later expanded his thesis in a 1996 book The Clash of Civilizations and the Remaking of World Order

this thesis. For example simple look on the map lines, not necessarily by an expert, can see that his theory puts Greece, Romania, Bulgaria in the same basket as Russia just for all of them being Orthodox, that maybe true, but these 3 countries and Russia are absolutely on different side of camps. Greece is a liberal, democratic, pro-west iqfjsdljg+ rights respecting country, while Russia is authoritarian, anti-west, corrupt state with anti iqaoitjos+ policies. So why he put them in the same basket? Simply because they are all Orthodox. Which is very dumb and shallow. So, if the non expert can pickup errors in this thesis, then what can an expert can say about it?

I think the Horn should be split between Orthodox Christian & Islamic Civilizations. Anything else like the sub Saharan category wouldn’t make sense
