Civil war enters second year in Ethiopia

The Nile negotiations will be going on for many years I reckon.

Egypt curled up in a ball and let Ethiopia build the giant dam. If you think Ethiopia won't use the dammed water for agriculture you are naive.
It's been going on for years because Egypt sucks at negotiation. They can easily bomb the dam, it's not like they have a primitive military like the rest of Africa.

And you must be naive if you think the Ethio highlands are suitable for industrial agriculture. You do realize part of the reason both Egypt and Ethiopia are building railways to Sudan is because they know it's the only country out of the three that is fit for mass food production? That's why Ethiopians are so focused on electricity and other manufacturing (such as textile). They know it's easier and cheaper to just import from a neighboring country that has the arable land.

Egypt doesn't have bunker busting bombs. It is going to be a tall order to inflict deep structural damage to the dam itself.

30% percent of Ethiopia is agricultural land.

The western region is too hilly for industrial farming, that's why it's inhabited by peasant amhara farmers that need to invade land in Qadarif just to feed themselves. The true lowlands (suitable for commercial farms) is only a fraction of what that map circled.

As for the eastern region they'll just use Shebelle to irrigate and the Omo for the southern region.

That was initial report by the Amnesty International that was debunked by the refugees and now in doubt internationally. The video explains it.

You are back with your character assassination tactics?

It was only debunked in your tigrean medias who live in their own virtual reality they created not in the real world. Enjoy your fake news, you have few days to live in your virtual world until the reality soon hit you hard.

What Tigrayan media are you talking about? David Davison from the International Crisis Group?

So many fake news was posted on this thread especially by our tigrean brother. However, I can confirm this one is true. Yes, bank accounts that were opened in Mekele are now deactivated in Addis Ababa. That is sad and the government should revise its police because it is affecting many innocent Tigreans who live in Addis Ababa. Targeting a whole group people based on their ethnicity is not acceptable in any situation. The law must also be amended that give such powers to the government. Freezing accounts must be allowed only based on court order and not be left for the government to do as it pleased. I strongly oppose this kind of collective punishment.

I've seen all your posts and they are all either tigrean fake news media or that are favored by them. Very one sided fake news like TPLF retook Axum and Alamata :ftw9nwa:. Since you have only few days to fake it, I let you enjoy your little time you have and the world will know the truth at the end of the day.

So, not a single example of the Tigrayan media I used to pointing out your debunked claim about the massacre?

As I said enjoy your fake news, you have only few days to do so. How is the retaking of Axum and Alamata going for you btw :ftw9nwa: ? While you are faking it, the army has now liberated Adwa and is at the gates of Adigrat.

@Django

I love how @xabashi is throwing around the "fake news" label when Abiy and his Amhara overlords have imposed information blockade in Tigray, even cutting off electricity. It is hard to get reliable information.

Here is what I use for updates:

I think you have no idea who baghdaad bob is. Baghdaad bob is the likes of our tigrean brother who fake victory while the enemy marching to his capital. Spokespersons for the marching army can't be baghdaad bob only the mouthpiece of a defeated and fleeing army and who has to fake victory can be described as baghdaad bob. You are confused.

Fake news. The electricity and telecommunication was cut by the regional administration when they attacked the northern command on the 3rd of November. They now open it on and off when they give press release so that people can watch but shut it down so that Tigreans don't know how many towns have already fell to the Ethiopian army.

I'm not gonna lie, this shit is disappointing. Where's the mass graves, the mass exodus? Both sides have long-range missiles and jet-fighters, yet they're not using it. We keep seeing skinny farmers marching for three weeks, niggas here posting xabashi news as if we understand what they're saying:westbrookwtf:

It is a typical government propaganda to deflect from the truth.

1. Tigray is under state of emergency imposed by Ethiopia
2. Banks closed
3. No electricity
4. No internet
5. No international media coverage. Reuters got its license revoked. BBC and DW received warnings.

Knowing how brutal Ethiopian authorities are, no wonder there is a blockade. Remember it is the Tigray Region that is under military attack by Ethiopian forces.

Why do you want to see mass graves? Normally, there will be no attacks on civilians exept for few exceptions. Why should they target civilians? Are you normal? Btw, the Ethiopian air force is bombarding TPLF key military targets (not civilian) almost everyday (both the air force and TPLF confirm that).
